How to request deletion
You do not need access to the app to make a request. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
Data deleted with your account
After verification, deletion covers personal data associated with your Constituent account, including:
- account and profile information;
- address, district, and civic-context information;
- questionnaire responses and derived preferences;
- saved bills, representatives, topics, notification settings, and other preferences; and
- account-associated activity and optional configuration data.
Retention and exceptions
Account access may be disabled promptly after verification. Soft-deleted account data is generally retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
Limited security, fraud-prevention, audit, backup, subscription, transaction, deletion-request, or legally required records may be retained longer, but only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Public legislative and government information is not data associated with an individual Constituent account and is not removed through this process. See the Privacy Policy for additional details.
Google Play subscriptions
You can request account deletion regardless of subscription status. Deleting your Constituent account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription; to stop future billing, cancel it separately in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
